I began my fitness journey as a very unfit person who lacked motivation, strength and agility!
I reached out to Ruth, explaining I was a beginner and feeling nervous about joining a new class. From day one Ruth has been extremely welcoming, supportive and accommodating.
Ruth makes each class different, shaping it up with new routines, exercises and equipment. She uses well thought out plans for each session, and can tailor them to individuals, offering varying levels of difficulty.
Ruth is a friendly, funny and bubbly person who brings the fun to each session! This has really helped me to look forward to the classes as I know we are going to have a laugh together, as well as the great feeling of exercising in the fresh air.
I am so happy with the progress I have made in the last 6 months. I never thought I would be capable of swinging 20kg kettle bells, holding a plank, or even doing a press up! Ruth has an amazing ability to unlock more potential than you ever knew you had. She has helped me to gain a lot of confidence back, and I can’t wait to see how much more I can achieve in the next 6 months with Ruth’s continued guidance and support.

I’ve never enjoyed exercise, I’ve only ever gone to the gym with my best friends and would only go late at night so no one was around. I didn’t have the confidence to go incase I was judged on my size or did things wrong. I never feel that at Ruth’s classes, it’s just like being with a bunch of friends, having fun and learning together, there’s no judgement or feeling insecure.
Ruth is so supportive and pushes you at the pace she knows you are comfortable with and capable of. (She knows when to kick your butt too and if your slacking). She makes you feel you’ve known her for years.
I’ve got so much out of the classes feeling stronger, healthier and happier than ever. I look forward to seeing everyone and her, knowing I will be a sweaty mess but the buzz and enjoyment of completing the class and having a laugh whilst doing it makes it a break from my day not a chore.
Such a wonderful person and teacher! Couldn’t recomend her enough and the fact I’ve dropped inches all over in such a short time is incredible!
